Which tests do these analyzers cover?
PT and INR, aPTT, fibrinogen and D-dimer are the routine menu. The fully automated C3100 additionally supports chromogenic and immunoturbidimetric methods, which widens the menu beyond routine clotting assays.
Should we choose the 2-channel or the 4-channel C2000?
The channel count sets how many samples can be in progress at once. A laboratory running occasional PT and aPTT requests is well served by the C2000-2; one running coagulation panels as a routine batch will finish sooner on the C2000-4.
